Welcome to Fly Guys

My name is Cameron, I am 22 and I live in Hamilton, New Zealand. I LOVE fly fishing. Get me near the water with a long piece of graphite (or fibreglass, or cane...) and I am a happy man. I am a full time student and work part time at Fish City in Hamilton, which coincidentally has the best selection of fly fishing gear in the Waikato. Anyway you'll usually find me on the water, salt or fresh, chasing anything that swims. I tie flies as well although not nearly as many as I should. I also love beer, sport and a good coffee. My best mate Josh and I decided to start this blog to not only share our own adventures with others but also to provide a place where you can get local fishing reports, check out some of the fish porn that we find through trawling the interwebs as well as whole mess of other random stuff. We are guys that live for adventure and see life as something to be enjoyed and lived to the full. Fly fishing is something we both have a passion for and the reward is not only the fish we catch but the places we see and people we meet along the way.
